1、 Raw materials
The manufacturer of rotary excavator cutting teeth uses raw materials. The hard alloy head uses tungsten cobalt alloy, the wear-resistant layer is imported tungsten carbide material, the solder and flux are imported copper based solder and flux, and the tooth body of the cutting tooth is made of 42CrMo alloy steel. Raw materials are the foundation for the wear resistance and service life of the cutting teeth;
2、 Cutting tooth design
The manufacturer of rotary excavator cutting teeth adopts cutting teeth that can rotate. Increase the ratio of the diameter D of the cutting head to the diameter d of the fixed shaft, so that the cutting teeth automatically rotate in the tooth seat during cutting, and the rotation direction of the cutting teeth automatically sharpens the tool tip, improving the service life of the cutting teeth.
3、 Manufacturing process
1. Welding wear-resistant layer: Welding a 3-5mm thick wear-resistant layer on the effective cutting part of the pick can improve the wear resistance of the pick and prolong its service life;
2. Using overlay welding technology to treat the cutting teeth: On the traditional position of the cutting tooth head embedded with hard alloy, overlay welding technology is used to layer and weld the cutting tooth head according to the requirements of the cutting tooth shape. The main alloying elements of the overlay coating are W, Cr, and V, and the alloying element content is basically the same as that of W-series high-speed steel. The coating is in a molten state. Therefore, the coating structure is similar to the cast high-speed steel structure, which is composed of skeletal eutectic martensite and austenite transformation products, ensuring that the coating has high hardness and wear resistance. The hardness of the coating is 660.6HV, which is not as high as that of hard alloy. However, in comparison, the impact resistance of the coating is better than that of hard alloy, making it more suitable for situations where coal seams contain inclusions or faults.
3. Increase the anti rust treatment process for cutting teeth: Due to the humid underground environment, long-term storage of cutting teeth may cause surface rust problems. Durbert has added an overall anti rust treatment process for cutting teeth, which involves processes such as anti rust liquid spraying and surface drying, forming an effective anti rust layer on the surface of cutting teeth, which can ensure that the product does not rust on the surface during long-term storage. It also further improves the service life of the cutting teeth.
